Bangladesh is a very small and beautiful country. It is a land of forests and tree, hills and vales. There are many small and big river and canals. It has many historical places. It has also many national historical places that has increased to make a beautiful country.

This is symbol of International Mother Language Day. It is build in Dhaka. Mother tongue is, so important that the people of a country express their ideas, thoughts, feelings emotions etc. clearly through mother tongue. Put it is an irony of fate that the then rulers of Pakistan tried to impose Urdu as mother tongue upon is instead of Bangla. But the people or our country raised their voice against this unlawful decision. Some of the heroic sons came forward and sacrificed their glorious life for the cause of our mother tongue on the 21st February.

Very important part of a country is a democratic parliament. Bangladesh is a independent country. It has a democratic parliament. Parliament of Bangladesh is called Jatiyo Sanhshad Bhaban. It was constructed in 1961 and completed in 1982 . It is located Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in Dhaka. It has 345 seats where 45 seats are reserved for women. Famous architect louis kahn designed this beautiful parliament.
